I bought this lovely turtle shaped oil lamp together with another Southern Indian Bronze Figure of Ganesha (Lot 95). I did not even know what was this when I first saw it, until the owner told me it is an antique oil lamp. I was quite impressed about ancient peoples fine thinking and work.

The owner is Indonesia Chinese and said he bought this piece from India.
