Description:
|
A early Qing Dynasty dragon plate. Very simple strokes bring out vivid and smooth dragon designs.
Seal mark as 'Mei Yu (Beautiful Jade)'.
I personally like dragon design very much and collect many different utensils with dragon designs. In ancient China, dragon represents: imperiality, authority, and mystique. Probably this is one of the reasons why I like dragon designs.
