Description:

Shopping around the Jade Market to see if I could find anything, and then I saw this happy Buddha. It is in greenish grey with some purple color in it. Can be just grasped fully in your hand, a very good hand piece. The lady boss said this kind of hand piece is rare to find, the jade has carved with a bat, and on the back carved with coin money, implying the Luck, Fortune, and longevity all together in your hand. Very meaningful and auspicious.
The boss lady offered me a price but I thought it was a little high so did not buy it. The second time when I browsed around there, the boss lady was not in but her husband, so I asked her husband for the price, and he threw me a rocket high price, and of course, I did not take it either.
After weeks later, I went by that place again, and the boss lady was there, and I questioned her if she could be so kind to lower the price a little to me? She finally accepted and said this was she bought years ago otherwise it would not be this price. So, I then acquired this smiling Fu Lu Shou happy Buddha. |
