I bought this piece at a bookstore of KungHwa Jade Market. The owner sells not only antique books but also displays some of his own collections. This piece is very obvious a Ming Dynasty piece, carving with 1 bat and 7 Ganoderma Lucidums, depicting when fortune (good luck) comes one has good spiritual ideas.
Definetely an old piece with nature colored skin, smooth and glossy. The ancient scholar used this as brushpen stand, very clever and artful thinking. I am sure with this piece on the side, the scholar and people must be able to come up with many great articles and works. |

釋義:
形容運氣來時，心思突然變得靈敏起來。語出宋．畢仲詢《幙府燕閒錄》。
典源:
宋．畢仲詢《幙府燕閒錄》（據《說郛．卷四一》引）
吳參政少以學究登科，復中賢良，為翰林學士，常常草制以示歐陽文忠，稱之，因戲曰：「君福至心靈。」
典故說明:
根據文獻記載，宋朝吳參政任職翰林學士時，常常起草典章制度呈給歐陽修看，歐陽修認為他寫得很好，因此開玩笑的說：「君福至心靈。」意思是：吳參政你運氣來時，思維突然變得靈敏起來。後來「福至心靈」就用來形容運氣來時，心思突然變得靈敏起來。
歐陽文忠：即歐陽修（西元１００７∼１０７２），字扑籜，晚號醉翁，又號六一居士，宋廬陵人。工詩、詞、散文，所作文章，為世所重，是當時文壇領袖。官至樞密副使參知政事，卒諡文忠。
