Description:

Originally, I had no intention to buy this inkstone at all. However, the seller kept saying this is definitely a grerat stuff for collection. I then thought that I didn't do many business with him for a while, price was ok, and he was willing to make a wooden box for me, so I decided to buy this piece.
The seller said this is surely an old Qing piece, but I think it's only a late Qing or early Republic. However, the material of jade is quite ok, also very large piece (just the jade itself is worth the money), plus sandalwood box with engraved "Wantiquer" letters. Very beautiful and valuable. |
