Description:
|
This jade carving monkey was given to me by one of my friends long time ago. It's a very nice white jade with dyed color (not natual). It's carved with a mother monkey and a baby monkey. The baby monkey is holding a peach looking at a bee. In chinese, this implis to have long life and be nobility/sovereign lord.
My daughter's zodiac is monkey so I wore that piece with me most of time. One day, my daughter asked me to give her one of my most like collection, and saw that piece. Of course, she took it right away. I am sure the monkey jade will surely protect and treasue my daughter.
The carving is really vivid with details. Even it's a contemporary jade but is still worth of collecting |
