我一直很想擁有一尊早期的立式佛像, 但是看的上眼的是少之又少. 去年閒逛時看到這尊文殊菩薩, 被祂的古樸型態深深吸引, 只見祂翩然而立, 頂三葉寶冠, 髮髻高聳, 束髮下行, 順肩而披, 雙耳環及肩, 身紕禫_鐶飾, 面飾泥金, 神態安祥, 雙目下視, 蘊含慈善寶光, 左手置臍前握經文, 右手持智慧劍<佚>, 身着天衣, 架裟衣飾貼體俐落, 衣紋流暢生動, 自然飄垂, 極為寫實.

一問價錢, 好個天價, 賣家懂貨, 很難討到便宜. 又進進出出過了年餘, 還是沒有賣出去. 所以我又跑去跟他殺價, 這次賣家的態度比較鬆動了. 剛好他那還有一座相當高大的噶當塔, 而且他並不是太了解這噶當塔, 只當這是一般的舍利塔, 所以我用一個好價錢, 買到兩件好收藏, 這樣就太值得了, 非常的高興.

我認為這尊文殊菩薩應該是12-14世紀的寶貴佛像, 銅質精鍊, 後世已不復見. 雖然因時代久遠, 雙足錯置, 智慧劍凋佚, 但是絲毫不影響祂的神采和收藏價值.原來的藏家做了一掛身架, 把這尊文殊菩薩穩穩的展現出來, 我倒是想另外做一個蓮花座, 將文殊菩薩置於其上, 取代錯置的雙足, 使祂更顯風範. 你說呢?

 
特別說明：
The copper is in good state of preservation. While the high points of the face gilding are somewhat rubbed, as can easily be seen in the photos. The details are incised and well delineated. There is some minor encrustation around the body, and on the recessed areas in the back of the sculpture.

Feet misplaced, wisdom sword missing (replaced).
