Description:
This gilt bronze Stupa is small but very detail and elaborated. Decorated with lotus base, topped with palace. Surrounded with engraved flowers and patterns, with walls and stairways. The form and style is in simplicity, unsophisiticated, and delicated. The palace can be taken up and put Sarira (Buddhist Relics) in the prayer tube.

When I first saw the Stupa, I was not really quite interested in purchasing it, however, after I went back home, I got an interesting thought that why not I buy this Stupa to put my lost tooth in there? What an idea and I then decided to buy it right away. Haha, who knows, may be couple hundred years later, this could be another great treasure story, my tooth fairy.

Condition and Additional Specification:
The bronze is in an excellent state of preservation. While the high points of the gilding are somewhat rubbed, as can easily be seen in the photos, most of the original gilding remains. The details are incised and well delineated. There is some minor encrustation under the base which was left un-gilt.
