Description:

I liked this Tsongkhapa figure very much when I first saw him. Small, but with magnificent power and dignity. Unsophisticated, but very detail and elaborated. The shrine carved with delicate patterns and designs, also with Tibetan on the sides. The Tsongkhapa seated under the ancient style shrine overseeing the people.
Passing by this booth several times, but the lady owner always gave a high price, and the price was getting higher every time. However, she was not able to sell it out either. Finally, made up my mind to have a serious negotiation with her. Luckily, she didn¡¦t have any business that day, so even reluctant to sell at a lower price, but still finally sold the figure to me in a package deal together with another mini Gilt Bronze Figure of Bhaisajyaguru.
Two gem stones were missing from the shrine, and I happened to have small coral and turquoise to fit with the decoration. Once I put the replacement gem stones onto the shrine, the shrine immediately looks more fine and gorgeous.
Bought another wood stand at the market to match with the shrine, perfect fit make the shrine and Tsongkhapa look even better. |
